The Parson's Collar

• Built in 1990 alongside The Solent Hotel, The Parson's Collar provides a local pub for the Whiteley community and has grown in popularity and support over the years.
  
  Managed by Trevor and Jackie since 2001, they very much hope that you enjoy your visit to 'The Parsons' and experience some 'traditional hospitality at its best' - an ethos on which Shire Hotels was founded.

  You will always find a well stocked bar serving the finest Thwaites real ales, brewed by Daniel Thwaites since 1807.
  
  Guests can sample the renowned Thwaites Original, Wainwright Golden Ale and Lancaster Bomber. Plus every month we introduce a Signature ale, specially brewed by Head Brewer Steve Fielding, to celebrate the changing seasons – be it a warming wintery brew or light refreshing ale for summer.

  The Parson's is able to host all types of celebrations including birthdays, christenings and engagements. Hot and cold buffets as well as entertainment can be arranged. Just contact us for more details
  
  We hold 'Quiz Nights' monthly - £2.00 per person to enter.  Prizes to be won.
  
  All major sporting events on Sky Sports will be shown at the Parson's.
