Midas and Wainwright – two of the magnificent Shire Horses – will be making a guest appearance at the Solent Hotel on Wednesday 25th August. The visit is part of a tour of the south which will take in Portsmouth Historic Docks and the New Forest. The horses and Groomsmen will be outside the hotel in all their finery from 3pm till 4pm on Wednesday and all are welcome to come along and meet them – we’re told they’re partial to polo mints if you want to bring a treat along!
